Fot those who didn't know.....
A long time ago, four years to be precise, we produced this toy and things were going swimmingly until the shipment arrived stateside. The shipment was loaded onto a truck in California for delivery to HOP HQ and was lost completely when that truck was hijacked and set on fire. You can see more about the story on our facebook page with security surveillance photos, etc. The carrier, who will not be named, used nefarious tactics to avoid responsibility for our product and we ended up at a total loss out of pocket. To make matters worse, when we were financially able to reproduce the figures, our partner factory overseas was shut down and repurposed for covid related manufacturing. Our molds were lost and we had no way to reproduce them at the time.
Flash forward to 2024, being financially able to give it another go, we partnered with a new factory, created new molds, reproduced the figures, and now have them in hand and ready to ship. The Thing From Another World figures are now once again available in our store!
Thank you to all of our fans and supporters over the years for helping us keep HOP alive and kicking, 2025 is going to be huge and we are excited to finally be back on track and getting high on plastic with you all once again!
